The Station is complete! Members worked very hard to ensure that the station was ready for the official opening on the 28th of April 2007. All the paths around the station are complete, with some landscaping left to be done.
Update to October: Well, we have managed to get a fair bit more concreting done, with the path along the southern side of the building completed, and half of the easter path completed. Also, we have recieved a new brigade sign to attach to the outside of the building, and this will be mounted over the next couple of weekends
Recently there has been a lot of work that has been happening at our station, such as the outside eaves being painted (red naturally!), the car park being tarred, the outside area being levelled, and a heap of other work being undertaken. Also, a 'before and after' pic of the front of the station, as shown on the main page. See the pics below!:

This page is about the ongoing work that is being done on our fire station. Most of this has been done by the members of the brigade, with occasional paid tradesman coming in to do various jobs.
The above photo is of the old station. The bay on the right is the Spare Bay, and the on the left is now the Cat 7 bay.
See below for a rough floorplan of Sancrox station

Recent additions to the station have been the tarring of the outside car park, the laying of concrete slabs around the southern side of the station, alongside the spare bay, and the completion of the toilets and showers.
